Early Path Fee Schedule

$350	Clinico-pathologic consultation, patient-referred for comprehensive slide and record review including review of all pregnancies to that date, and generation of formal consultation report provided to patient and physicians to whom the patient wishes the report to be directed. A 30 minute telephone consultation with Dr. Salafia to discuss report is included.

$275	Physician-referred comprehensive slide review including review of all pregnancies to that date. The report is provided to both the patient and the physician. Dr. Salafia will review any material with the patient's physician. An additional charge of $75.00 applies if the patient wants to schedule a consultation directly with Dr. Salafia.

$40	Processing of tissues into hematoxylin and eosin stained slides for microscopic examination. Please note, this charge is separate and in addition to the consultation fees listed above. You will be billed directly by the Department of Pathology at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center for this fee.

$175	Clinical consultation, patient referred review of records (which may include pathology reports but not slides), and generation of formal summary expert opinion regarding likely pathophysiology/mechanisms, and possibilities for future evaluation and surveillance based on identified mechanisms. Report is provided directly to patient and to all physicians identified by the patient.

Brief questions, by phone or email Patients requesting responses by the close of the next business day may schedule a telephone consultation or send an email detailing their questions. Answers will be facilitated by inclusion of medical and family history, your reproductive history, ovulation and cycle history and as much detail about your pregnancies as possible. Brief questions: Telephone consultation lasting up to 15 minutes, email response up to 500 words - $50.00. Telephone consultation lasting up to 30 minutes, email response including medline search, references, citations - $100.00.
